Minnesota’s Masonry Ruins of the 19th Century

For consulting firms and interested academics there is a request for proposals out for a study documenting Minnesota’s 19th century masonry ruins.  The purpose of the project is to create an inventory of known sites, to develop a framework for evaluating their historical significance, and to develop strategies for their stabilization and interpretation.  For more information check out the Monday September 24, 2012 issue of the State Register.
